“I really want to see ‘MJ’ because I’ve heard that not only is the music impressive, but the choreography is impressive…” said Kevin Giglinto, president and CEO of the Marcus Center.

“‘The Book of Mormon’ has won so many Tonys and is a sold-out show everywhere it goes…” Giglinto said. “The thing about the Book of Mormon is that they updated it. They updated the book and the plot to make it much more contemporary. So for those who have seen it before, it will be a little different, but with the same humor.”

Current Broadway season subscribers will automatically renew for the 2024-2025 Broadway season. Subscribers will receive an email with details on the renewal process.

“It’s great to be the home of Broadway in Milwaukee and the season is remarkable. There are a lot of big winners in it,” Giglinto said. “They are beloved titles. There’s a lot of fun in this season too, which is something I know our audience will really enjoy… We couldn’t have had a better season.”

The Marcus Center has also released two other series series. “MPAC Presents Dance” features performances by Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company and Ladies of Hip Hop.

“I think Ladies of Hip Hop and Complexions will be a great continuation of some of the great success we’ve had this year with Dance Theater of Harlem and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago,” said Giglinto. “We’re growing the dance audience – and the audience for contemporary dance in particular – and the diversity of our audience attending these shows speaks for these companies in particular.”

Programs in the MPAC Presents Jazz series include performances by Esperanza Spalding, Lakecia Benjamin and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.

“It’s really important for us to reflect the diversity of our culture and have a lot of artistic voices that represent American art,” Giglinto said. “I think we did it really, really well in the jazz and dance series.”
