St Mirren could field new players Jaden Brown and James Scott but two injured players Conor McMenamin and Ryan Strain are out and Keanu Baccus has international duty with Australia. James Bolton and Greg Kiltie doubt and knock.

Rangers defender Connor Goldson is back from suspension. New midfielder Mohamed Diomande is awaiting a work permit. The Ibrox side are without Danilo, Ben Davies, Kieran Dowell, Kemar Roofe and Abdallah Sima while Alex Lowry is added to the list following his return from Heart of Midlothian from injury.

Celtic v Ross County

Celtic have defender Cameron Carter-Vickers injured and winger Nicolas Kuhn is on his first trip but Greg Taylor is out with a calf problem. Reo Hatate, Oh Hyeon-gyu, Yang Hyun-jun and Daizen Maeda are in charge of the Asia Cup.

Ross County could bring in new players Loick Ayina and Teddy Jenks. Jack Baldwin is suspended through injury, midfielder Scott Allardice is out for three months, while Ryan Leak underwent an x-ray on his ankle and Will Nightingale returned to parent club Wimbledon for a knee injection. Ross Callachan and Dylan Smith are out.

Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen

Hearts will be hoping Beni Baningime and Aidan Denholm will be fit after the midfielders suffered knocks in Tuesday’s win over Dundee. Liam Boyce, Cammy Devlin and Barrie McKay are injured while Australian duo Kye Rowles and Nathaniel Atkinson are still on international duty.

Aberdeen will be without Slobodan Rubezic after picking up a knee injury against St Johnstone.

Did you know? Aberdeen have not won at Tynecastle since 2017 but have taken part in three away games against Hearts this term.

Kilmarnock v Hibernian

Liverpool forward James Balagizi could start for Kilmarnock after joining on loan while Derek McInnes hopes goalkeeper Will Dennis is fit after missing last week’s win over Dundee with a slight injury. Brad Lyons and Kyle Magennis are out.

Hibernian will be hoping to have defender Paul Hanlon back after he missed the midweek defeat by Rangers through illness. Martin Boyle, Rocky Bushiri, Lewis Miller and Jojo Wollacott are on international duty while Chris Cadden, Josh Campbell, Jake Doyle-Hayes and Adam Le Fondre are injured.

Livingston v Dundee

Livingston will be without Jack Hamilton and Cristian Montano. Tete Yengi and Ayo Obileye are expected to return from recent injuries while captain Michael Devlin is expected to be fit despite being out last weekend.

Dundee have signed Burnley striker Michael Mellon on loan while midfielder Luke McCowan is concussed at the back against Hearts. Cammy Kerr and Zak Rudden have left on loan. Aaron Donnelly, Ricki Lamie, Diego Pineda and Antonio Portales were absent.

St Johnstone v Motherwell

Connor Smith could make his St Johnstone debut if the paperwork is completed following his move from Hearts. Nicky Clark, Chris Kane and Kerr Smith trained on Friday after missing the midweek draw with Aberdeen. Ali Crawford, Sam McClelland and Drey Wright are not yet ready to return while Cammy MacPherson and Ross Sinclair are out for a long time.

Motherwell may have New Zealand midfielders Callan Elliot and Sam Nicholson in their squad but both are shortchanged. Shane Blaney and Dan Casey are both back in training but may not be ready while Jon Obika and Callum Slattery remain.
