Want to lose weight and still eat pizza? This dream is not pie in the sky.

A personal trainer in the UK says he lost 13kg in a month – and still devoured Domino’s pizza every day.

Jayden Lee, 18, decided to enjoy a small pie from the pizza franchise every day in January to prove that you don’t have to give up processed foods in an effort to get in shape.

The teenager believes that as long as you’re in a calorie deficit and exercising regularly, no food should be off the menu.

“Trying a new pizza every day was fun,” Lee told WhatsTheJam this week. “For a long time, I had a terrible relationship with food and noticed that people demonize certain processed foods.”

“Food shouldn’t be restricted just because you’re trying to lose some belly fat,” added the Brit.

PT tipped the scales at 161.60 pounds on Jan. 1 before starting the 31-day challenge.

He limited his calorie intake to 2,500 a day and made sure to exercise almost every day, aiming for 45 minutes of cardio.

On January 31st, he weighed 148.37 kg lean.

“My body was fine. My sleep was good, my hunger levels were good apart from the occasional day and my energy was good,” claimed Lee. “I had no complaint! Except for the wait for Domino’s, which was a bit tiresome at times.”

While PT ate pizza every day, he paired this fatty food with protein-heavy meals like banana protein pancakes, chocolate protein oats, a veggie omelet, and peanut butter on a banana honey bagel.

“I ate high-nutrient, high-protein, high-volume foods to keep me satisfied and fuel my body,” she explained.

In addition to frequent, high-intensity cardio workouts, the teenager also did strength training and aimed to walk for at least 10 minutes after each meal.

Also make sure to sleep at least 7 hours a night.

While Lee will no longer be eating pizza every day, he said the challenge proves you can still indulge in treats on a weight loss journey without sacrificing your bottom line.

“Food should not be feared or excluded when trying to reduce fat, but rather included in an overall healthy diet,” he said.
