Cape Cod Healthcare announces February blood drive

(Hyannis, Jan. 31) Cape Cod and Falmouth hospitals are in desperate need of blood donations. During the month of February, several blood drives were held across Cape Cod to benefit Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC). Cape Cod and Falmouth hospitals must have at least a week’s worth of blood on hand at all times. Since each unit collected or purchased only lasts 42 days, maintaining an adequate supply is an ongoing challenge. All blood collected by Cape Cod Healthcare Blood Center stays on Cape Cod to help our family, friends and neighbors.

Donors who participate in the CCHC blood drive in February will receive a Stop & Shop gift card.

February 2: 10:10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., St. Joan of Arc, 61 Canal Road, Orleans
February 6: 10.40am to 5pm, Harwich Police Station, 183 Sisson Road, Harwich
February 7: 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cape Cod College, 50 Osterville-West Barnstable Road, Osterville
